International Sister Schools

With a strong commitment to international partners and collaborations, the Ruth Page School of Dance has developed a network of exceptional programs with esteemed dance training centers around the world.  These programs foster invaluable global relationships and provide unique cultural experiences for our collective organizations, dancers, and students. Intermediate through advanced students from the Ruth Page School of Dance are invited to travel, train, and perform at select sister schools.

The International Sister School program aims to promote distinction in dance training
by developing and nurturing international partnerships and networks with a select group of exceptional arts organizations.

To enhance each partner’s global visibility,
at home and abroad, through shared and collaborative endeavors.

Significant among the Sister Schools is the relationship with Cuba’s National School of Ballet (Escuela Nacional de Cuba – ENB), which, in 2015, was a pioneering program and cultural exchange. Because of this program, ENB welcomed an American ballet dancer from the Ruth Page School of Dance to its training program. Catherine Conley became the first American to receive an official invitation from the Cuban National Ballet School since the normalization of relations in 2015 and subsequently went on to dance with the Cuban National Ballet (Ballet Nacional de Cuba).
